Research on the Consciousness of Filial Responsibility for the Older Parents

Abstract
|
|
|
Considering the realities of our life, to support the old is a family responsibility and it is desirable for the old to live together with their children.
Thus this study aimed to find out the factors which restrict the youth to live together with their parents after marriage.
For this study we used questionnaires to 450 university students stayed. (among them 424 was employed by us).
The answer shows
1. The determinative factors to live together with their parents after marriage.
2. The desirable residential conditions to share the house with their parents after marraige.
3. The desirable ways of using the house shared with their parents after marriage.
(The detailed results are presented in the main text)
Based on the above results we propose following things.
1) The study point of view about mufti-generation sharing house with a national is necessary for the satisfactorily support to the old.
2) From now on housing plan which makes the conversation between parents and children possible is necessary.
3) Education and study to reduce the gap of views between young men and women about sharing house with the old is necessary.
